Assamese Panjika & calendar guide

A guide to the dates, tithi and sources published in our family calendar.

What this Assamese calendar contains

The Assamese Panjika contains published daily dates, tithi, paksha, festival names and available timings. Open a month, then a date, to read the details without needing the interactive calendar. The calendar is also described as an Assamese calendar or অসমীয়া পঞ্জিকা.

Tithi, dates and locality

A Gregorian date and a tithi are different fields. Read the tithi's stated end time alongside the date, locality and source. All displayed times use India Standard Time. Missing details are left blank rather than inferred.

Looking for Kalpurush Panjika?

Aamar Puja is not the official Kalpurush Panjika website or publisher. We do not offer an authenticated copy, PDF or transcription of a Kalpurush edition. If your family follows a printed Kalpurush Panjika, compare the date, year, locality and tithi with that edition before deciding your household schedule.

Where the published dates come from

Daily pages display their recorded source. Imported Drik Panchang entries are reviewed before publication; their source remains Drik Panchang, not Kalpurush. A source being listed is not an endorsement or affiliation. The family puja schedule is maintained separately.

How the Durga Puja countdown works

The site looks for published Durga Saptami. It checks for Shashthi two days earlier, then one day earlier, and counts down to midnight IST on the first matching date. If that evidence is unavailable, it uses the family's published Puja-year dates.
